The SFAF Ambassador Council aims to ensure the long-term sustainability of our organization and advocate for our mission. We strongly encourage BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and people living with HIV to apply.
Join the SFAF Ambassador Council
Advocate, support, and create positive change for those affected by HIV and AIDS.
- Members of the Ambassador Council will serve as SFAF representatives, promoting SFAF’s mission-driven work while also growing our network of supporters.
- Ambassadors are expected to serve on the Council for at least one year and commit seven hours per month to attend bi-monthly meetings, community events, and fundraising events.
- Subcommittee tasks include event planning, marketing and communications, event sponsorship and fundraising, and community outreach.
- Ambassador co-chairs will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, operations, and effectiveness of the Council.
- Council subcommittee chairs will be responsible for target setting and planning, meeting management, member engagement and accountability, strategy development, and ongoing communication.
- Ambassadors are required to fundraise or donate a minimum of $1,000 for each year of service.
- Ambassadors may serve on the Council for multiple terms.
As an Ambassador Council member, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Advocate, support, and create positive change for people living with HIV.
- Contribute your unique perspectives and ideas to support our cause.
- Collaborate with like-minded individuals and professionals across various fields.
- Drive initiatives and campaigns aimed at achieving health justice and equity.
