Key Responsibilities
  • Members of the Ambassador Council will serve as SFAF representatives, promoting SFAF’s mission-driven work while also growing our network of supporters.
  • Ambassadors are expected to serve on the Council for at least one year and commit seven hours per month to attend bi-monthly meetings, community events, and fundraising events.
  • Subcommittee tasks include event planning, marketing and communications, event sponsorship and fundraising, and community outreach.
  • Ambassador co-chairs will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, operations, and effectiveness of the Council.
  • Council subcommittee chairs will be responsible for target setting and planning, meeting management, member engagement and accountability, strategy development, and ongoing communication.
  • Ambassadors are required to fundraise or donate a minimum of $1,000 for each year of service.
  • Ambassadors may serve on the Council for multiple terms.
