The 6th Street Center is a place of welcome and a pathway to improved health and healing. Located in the Tenderloin/SoMa neighborhood, the 6th Street Center provides health services and supplies that help people who inject drugs manage their health, prevent overdose, and stop HIV and hepatitis C transmission.
Fentanyl and its analogs continues to change the drug landscape in San Francisco. Our goal is to provide the latest information and training, in combination with Narcan (naloxone), to reduce preventable deaths due to overdose.
Through the Street Medicine Team, we offer Suboxone treatment to people who are experiencing homelessness or unstable housing at our 6th Street Center.
