World AIDS Day National Observance

Vince Crisostomo, SFAF’s Director of Aging Services, will receive the Thom Weyand Unsung Hero Award in recognition of his decades of HIV and AIDS advocacy at the World AIDS Day National Observance at the National AIDS Memorial Grove. Crisostomo will also participate in a panel discussion at the event highlighting stories and experiences from people living with HIV of all ages. Vince has lived with HIV/AIDS for over 35 years, dedicating much of them to HIV and LGBTQ+ activism at international, regional, national, and grassroots levels.

United in Aging: A World AIDS Day Commemoration – Webinar

San Francisco AIDS Foundation staff and community partners from the Los Angeles LGBT Center, Shanti Project, APLA Health, Cascade AIDS Project, Trans Latin@ Coalition, Christie’s Place, and MPact Global Forum will share their collective efforts to cultivate community connections among older adults living with HIV. Event produced by CWC, a program of THE Collaborative at UCSF and SAGE.

AIDS/LifeCycle World AIDS Day Ride

Join us as we ride in observance of World AIDS Day. We’ll start our ride meeting at the National AIDS Memorial Grove at the corner of Nancy Pelosi Drive and Bowling Green Drive in Golden Gate Park. After our pre-ride activities we’ll head through the Presidio and over to the Legion of Honor, then along Ocean Beach towards our rest stop. After the rest stop you can choose to either do the Lake Merced loop for more miles, or head on back to the National AIDS Memorial Grove.
