SFAF and The Reunion Project Launch National HIV Long-Term Survivor Anthology Project

This ambitious project, titled, “We Live: Voices of the First Generation to Survive HIV/AIDS,” aims to capture and preserve the untold stories of long-term survivors across the nation.

In order to be responsive to the fluid nature of language and the changing ways staff and community members identify, SFAF will begin to phase out the use of “Latinx” from our communications.

The two agencies will join forces in 2025 to serve the community a joint fundraiser spanning San Francisco and the East Bay.

Crisostomo, SFAF’s Director of Aging Services, will receive the Thom Weyand Unsung Hero Award from the National AIDS Memorial Grove this December 1.
