The Syringe Pickup Crew at San Francisco AIDS Foundation provides on-demand syringe disposal services seven days a week in neighborhoods across San Francisco. Find out how their work helps to make our city safer for everyone—and what to do if you see discarded syringes or other injection equipment.
Hi, I’m Robert and we are the Syringe Pickup Crew at San Francisco AIDS Foundation.
The Syringe Pickup Crew at San Francisco AIDS Foundation works to safely dispose of improperly discarded syringes.
We’re active seven days a week, for more than 80 hours a week in neighborhoods across San Francisco.
Our work prevents accidental needle sticks, and makes our city’s streets safer for everyone.
If you see a syringe on the street, don’t pick it up or touch it.
Contact us through our text line or go to our website. Send us a picture of the syringes and your location.
We’ll send trained staff members to dispose of them safely.
Thank you, San Francisco!
