There are many reasons to organize a Do It Yourself event -- perhaps you have a personal connection to San Francisco AIDS Foundation, or you would like to honor a family member or friend, or you want to host a fun event for your friends. No matter the reason, Do It Yourself events support the vital programs that help bring health and wellness to people in our community living with or at risk of HIV.

There are many different types of fundraisers and events. Here are just a few ideas to inspire you:

  • Birthday/Graduation/Anniversary Party
  • Participate in a Marathon or 5K
  • Bowl-a-thon
  • Organize a raffle
  • Beer bust/crawl
  • Host a themed party
  • Game night
  • Give up bad habits
  • Karaoke night
  • Dinner party with friends

When you create a Do It Yourself event, we will give you tools that will help you raise funds to support the work of the foundation. Do It Yourself event participants can create personalized fundraising web pages in support of an event or individual pursuit. Whether you want to plan a party or run a 5K, bike across the country…or anything in between, you can customize your own fundraising page and earn fundraising prizes along the way!

Each event is hosted independently with oversight provided staff from San Francisco AIDS Foundation.
