Sex-Drug Exchange (2002)
Developed in conjunction with African-American same-gender-loving men in the Tenderloin district of San Franscisco, this new campaign addresses the risk of HIV when exchanging sex for drugs (the "sex-drug exchange").
The highly targeted campaign, which is based on extensive interviews, uses phrases commonly heard in the Tenderloin. The men in this community feel this campaign reflects the reality of life in "the TL."
The campaign was developed by Cabra Diseño and consists of billboards, wallscapes, postcards and other material.
